The Story

Established in 1976 as Hearth & Leisure, a Fireplace, BBQ and Patio Furniture store, over the years the business has evolved and is now known as Hearth & Home. This change brought about an expansion and with that, changes to our product lines, which now include the following:

Hearth and Home has successfully grown due to the efforts of a dedicated team of employees in Sales, Service and Installations. This growth came about from hard work & dedication, which earned the company a reputation for best-in-class quality installations and as a result, a significant referral business.

Today our growth is a direct result of our employees, repeat business and referrals from our satisfied customers.

About The Owner

Guy Fraser began his career in the industry in 1986. Over the next 15 years he acquired his Oil burner, G1 gas technician, sheet metal and refrigeration licenses. In 2000 he became an employee at Hearth and Home and two short years later, he joined the ownership of the company. Fast forward to 2015 and he became the sole proprietor of Hearth and Home. Customer satisfaction and quality workmanship are key elements to the overall success of Hearth and Home; exceeding customer & manufacturer’s expectations is always the goal. Guy takes the utmost pride in promoting a good work environment through teamwork, training, employee incentives and an overall good comradery amongst his staff. Through positive word of mouth referrals and a solid reputation the company has grown in the last 15+ years from a staff of 3 to a full-time staff of 19!

A lover of the outdoors and his two dogs, Guy & his wife enjoy their time at the cottage and travelling.
